Summary: Nice comfortable stay. The pool was warm and very relaxing; the hot tub and sauna both worked fine. Although not complimentary, the breakfast at the Summit Restaurant was excellent. Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from the west balcony of the hotel. Very nice! Will stay again.

Summary: We were lucky enough to get in to stay there during Oktoberfest in Galena. We got two rooms which I am sure were the last two available so they were not that big and did not have a view of the river and had small bathrooms. We had a good time there though. Enjoyed hiking around the trails in the area. Also took a ride on the alpine slide down to the river to ride the boat and rode the chair lift back up. Also played mini golf. Enjoyed the view of the river at breakfast.

Summary: The hotel room was updated and clean. The bathroom was old but very clean. The hallway leading to the indoor pool was unacceptable. I understand if they aren't using the rooms down that hall anymore, but the carpetinf was filthy and coming up in spots and the hall needed paint. Luckily, the pool was clean and a nice temperature. The activities on property were very well run and the outside of the property was well kept and decorated. Some updates to the interior would make this an excellent hotel.

Summary: This resort could definitely use some updating, carpets in the hallways were old and dingy and furniture was a little beat up, but overall it was a pleasant stay. The view was great and the rides were fun.
